Tower Hotel Derry is a stylish 4 star city centre hotel.
Located in the very centre of Derry, the Tower is the only hotel within
Derry city’s historic walls. Derry itself is an architectural and
historic treasure waiting to be discovered. Since opening its doors in
May 2002, the hotel has been awarded RAC, AA and Northern Irish Tourist
Board four star gradings.
Overlooking Derry’s City Walls, the award-winning
Bistro at the Tower has an atmosphere, which is both historic and contemporary.
The menu is distinctly Mediterranean whilst drawing on local produce and
flavours for inspiration. The Lime Tree Bar is already one of Derry’s
popular meeting places. It is a chic café by day and a fun place
to relax and unwind at night.
Derry has emerged from its troubled past as Ireland’s
most vibrant city pulsing with life and resonant with centuries of heritage
and culture. It was the last city in Ireland to be encircled by walls
and the only one where the original walls survive intact. Universally
renowned for its architectural splendour, the walled city contains a number
of very fine buildings.
The city is ideally located, acting as a springboard into
some of Ireland’s most dramatic and evocative landscapes; from picturesque
country villages , to the breathtaking hills of Donegal, the spectacular
vistas along the Antrim coast and the mountainous terrain of the Sperrins.
