Why change our name?
We are very excited about our rebranding which has been a three-year process. We want a name that reflects who we are and what we do. We are an Irish travel company and we want to act as your guide to Ireland. Nothing else has changed we are exactly the same team of people who focus on creating great vacations and personal service. Corrib Heights Hotel

Close to Galway Town but away from its hustle and bustle, the Corrib Great Southern is a hotel with excellent facilities and attentive staff, set in a great location for touring the West of Ireland.

Situated about a mile from the vibrant centre of Galway Town, the Corrib stands overlooking the head of Galway Bay. Like many of Ireland’s Great Southern hotels the Corrib offers excellent hospitality, catering for a range of needs with an array of facilities.

The hotel’s bedrooms are all of a good standard, modern and tastefully decorated, equipped with all the essential facilities and are reasonably spaced. Rooms at the front of the hotel boast splendid views of Galway Bay and the hotel also has a selection of luxury suites for extra comfort.

Among the hotel’s facilities is the Currach restaurant, which provides an extensive menu and great views across the bay while a pianist plays quietly away. O’Malley’s Pub at the hotel is full of character with live music nightly and is popular with guests and local Galwegians alike.

For younger guests the Corrib has a play centre during the summer months and school holidays, with a full range of activities for children as well as a children’s pool in the hotel’s leisure centre. The leisure centre boasts a fully equipped gym, heated indoor swimming pool, steam room and Jacuzzi.

The hotel can arrange all types of activities from fishing to trips out to the isolated Aran Islands and is situated at an intersection of the main routes linking Galway with the excellent touring countryside of Connemara, and the Burren as well as routes to the main Irish airports of Shannon and Dublin and the visitor attractions of the Cliffs of Moher and Galway City.
