Bayview

Living up to its name, the Bayview Hotel is perched along the coastline overlooking the sweeping bay of the picturesque fishing village of Ballycotton, in County Cork.

The tiny fishing port of Ballycotton has offered safe haven for seafarers since 1250 and now affords the Bayview Hotel a welcome retreat. The stunning setting overlooking the sweeping bay and its unspoilt fishing harbour is just one among many of the Bayview Hotel’s special features. The Bayview offers an elegant and relaxing retreat with the charm and grace of years gone by.

With attractive sylvan features set around charming terrace gardens, the Bayview is undoubtedly an attractive property. Inside the Bayview is set with country style décor and old-fashioned furnishings within refined reading rooms and relaxing lounges, while friendly staff provide the warmest of welcomes.

The bedrooms maintain the Bayview's theme of old world charm, with quite spacious, bright and airy rooms combining luxurious comfort with modern facilities. Superior rooms have balconies with inspiring views out across the bay.

The Capricho Restaurant at the Bayview offers the best in traditional Irish fare with some modern touches, carefully balancing flavour and presentation and using the finest fresh local produce. The menu is complimented by a varied wine list with over 120 labels.

From the Bayview, a number of activities are on hand such as; sea angling with Ballycotton’s fleet and golfing with six challenging course all within 30 minutes drive from Bayview. Walking along the cliff top track or paddling along the beach at nearby Garryvoe is also available or simply relax in the Bayview’s charming gardens, embrace the invigorating sea air and watch the working day in the harbour pass slowly by.
